Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro conservation area is a UNESCO heritage site located 180 km from Arusha city. It has an unbreakable crater with permanent water sources that allow it to throughout the year availability of wildlife. It’s the best place to spot endangered and rare animals such as black rhinos. The crater descends 700 meters, 

Ngorongoro is very known for plenty of wildlife including but not limited to zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, gazelle, lion, leopard and giraffe. Moreover, Ngorongoro is a place with various bird species count more than 500 bird species available. It was nominated as a UNESCO biosphere reserve due to plenty of plant species found nowhere. Ngorongoro is the only place where animals and people live together without harm, therefore a named multiple land use area.
